They are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Analyst/Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join their Finance team. This role reports to the Director of Finance and works closely with leaders across the company.
This is an in-person role, reporting to our client's office in Santa Monica (Los Angeles) five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to support decision-making
- Consolidate and reconcile financial data from multiple systems and teams
- Prepare monthly reporting packages with variance analysis and insights for department leaders
- Support the monthly close process and summarize results for management
- Partner with cross-functional teams on business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and strategic initiatives
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Provide financial forecasts and scenario analysis to guide planning
- Contribute to other finance-related projects as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a comparable discipline (preferred)
- Prior FP&A experience with strong budgeting and analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced Excel skills, with proven financial modeling expertise
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders
- Background in companies that sell or manage physical products (e.g., electronics, retail, e-commerce, IoT), preferred
- Experience helping implement new financial processes in a scaling or startup environment
Compensation: Targeting a base salary of $110-140k bonus
