Treehouse - First Step Learning Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Assistant Director to join our leadership team and help guide our high-quality Early Education and Care program.

Qualifications
Required:
- EEC Director Certification or eligibility
Preferred:
- EEC Preschool Teacher Certification or eligibility
- EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification or eligibility
- EEC School Age Site Coordinator or Program Administrator Certification or eligibility

Key Responsibilities
As our program continues to grow and evolve, the Assistant Director's role remains dynamic and engaging. Responsibilities include:
Educator Supervision & Support
· Provide classroom guidance, coaching, mentoring, and training to educators
· Conduct classroom observations and educator evaluations
· Support staff scheduling and daily operations
· Ensure lesson plans are completed and implemented with fidelity
· Monitor portfolio completion and classroom documentation
· Support classroom organization and learning environments that reflect Treehouse values and best practices
· Promote a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous growth among educators
Program Administration
- Interviewing and hiring teachers and assistant teachers
- Maintaining child and staff files to ensure compliance with EEC regulations and program standards
- Supporting regulatory compliance and licensing requirements
- Preparing staff meeting agendas
- Contributing newsletter content and family communications
· Assist with special events, family gatherings, and community-building activities
· Conducting prospective family tours by sharing Treehouse's philosophy, curriculum, and community values with prospective families
Program Operations
- Supporting educators, children, and classrooms as needed
- Providing ratio coverage when circumstances arise
· Help create environments where children feel safe, connected, respected, and inspired to learn
· Model flexibility, teamwork, and leadership in a fast-paced early childhood setting
- Helping maintain the high-quality educational experiences Treehouse families have come to expect
