We are expanding and looking for a natural relationship builder with strong sales experience. If you excel at consultative sales and enjoy helping homeowners solve problems, we will teach you everything you need to know about trees and plant health.
Who This Role Is Ideal For
- You have sales experience in home services such as landscaping, pest control, roofing, lawn care, concrete, remodeling, or similar fields.
- You enjoy meeting people, walking properties, identifying opportunities, and presenting solutions.
- You want a role that blends sales, service, and field work rather than a desk-only job.
Client Engagement and Sales
- Build strong, long-term relationships through exceptional service and communication.
- Conduct on-site consultations with residential and commercial clients.
- Identify client needs and recommend tree care or plant health care solutions.
- Prepare and present clear proposals using our digital estimating tools.
- Proactively develop new business through community involvement, networking, and lead follow-up.
- Manage your pipeline, schedule, and follow-ups with professionalism and urgency.
Project Coordination
- Partner with the production team to ensure jobs are completed as proposed.
- Communicate scope changes, updates, and solutions to clients and crews.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project.
Training and Development
- Participate in Tree Worx arboriculture and plant health care training programs.
- Learn how to identify tree species, diagnose common tree issues, pests, diseases, structural concerns, and soil problems.
- Work toward industry certifications such as ISA Certified Arborist (time requirements apply.)
Required
- At least two years of sales, estimating, or client-facing experience in a related field such as landscaping, construction, roofing, pest control, lawn care, or other home services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of comfort with email, phone, and text communication.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Clean Driving record, drug test required.
Preferred (but not required)
- Tree care, landscape, horticulture, or plant health background
- ISA certification or interest in pursuing certification
- Familiarity with CRM systems or digital estimating tools
