Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Tree Climber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in tree care, trimming, and climbing techniques to perform high-quality pruning, advanced tree removals, and maintenance of trees. Your energetic approach will ensure that safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to clients. This position includes taking on a leadership role as a point of contact as a Forman on site. Highly competitive pay for the right Candidate.
Responsibilities
- Safely ascend and descend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and harnesses to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks.
- Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts efficiently for elevated work on trees and landscape features.
- Use rigging equipment to control the fall of branches or entire large trees during removal processes.
- Conduct detailed assessments of tree health and growth patterns.
- Follow industry best practices for tree care, ensuring the health and safety of trees while minimizing environmental impact.
- Collaborate with team members on project planning, safety procedures, and client communication to deliver top-tier service.
- Requirements
- Proven experience in tree climbing, tree trimming, or arboriculture with a focus on safety and precision.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks, bucket lifts, and other aerial work platforms confidently.
- Growing experience in horticulture or related fields is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Valid drivers license (class B preferred)
- No drug or alcohol problem
- Pass a back ground check
