About the Opportunity:
Tree Top Staffing is conducting a confidential search for an MEP BIM/VDC Specialist on behalf of a well-established multidisciplinary engineering and design organization in the Fond du Lac area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong BIM/VDC experience who wants to join a growing team, work on a diverse range of projects, and make an immediate impact. This role is especially well suited for candidates with experience in detailed electrical system modeling and coordination.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting for a growing BIM Services group
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to create accurate BIM models and layout drawings
- Produce BIM models ranging from LOD 300 to LOD 400
- Model electrical systems, including conduits, cable trays, hangers, and clearance zones for electrical panels and light fixtures
- Draft and model using Autodesk Revit
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of work
- Identify project conflicts or issues that may impact deadlines or deliverables
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and clients
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience with BIM/VDC modeling in an MEP or electrical environment
- Strong Revit experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience modeling electrical systems in a coordinated environment
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
Ideal Background:
- Experience working for an electrical contractor, MEP firm, or similar BIM/VDC environment
- Experience supporting install-level electrical modeling and coordination
- Experience with conduits, cable trays, hangers, and electrical clearances
- Data center, mission critical, or complex commercial/industrial project experience would be a plus
