Groundsperson / Tree worker

Tree Pro has over 30 years’ experience in the tree care industry, providing complete tree and vegetation management services including tree trimming and removal, defensible space and fuel load reduction, tree and brush thinning, chipping and clearing, and disaster recovery response.

We are looking for a full-time Groundsperson/Tree Worker to be a part of our amazing team. We prefer 1 years experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in the use of chain saws in felling trees or trunks and in cutting logs into manageable pieces
• Ability to load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris.
• Ability to operate a chipper and basic chipper maintenance
• Ability to tow and back-up a trailer
• Service gasoline, air, and hand-powered tools and other equipment
• Valid California Driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to obtain First Aid & CPR certification
• Must be able to withstand and work in exposure to all kinds of weather conditions such as rain, heat, cold, snow, as well as exposure to nature i.e., irritating plants, biting or stinging insects, dust, etc.
• Possess the ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Work with, near, and around hazardous equipment
• Ability to work overtime and be subject to on call work
• Ability to represent Tree Pro in a professional manner
• Pass a Skills assessment
• Able to pass a drug test
• You must work safely and protect your coworkers at all times.

Competitive pay ranging from $28-$40 per hour DOE.
