What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Tree of Life?
Provide direct client care in one on one and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements. Conduct skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisors. Ensure all required reports or documents and tasks are completed on time. Effectively communication with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the clinical supervisor. Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings. Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION Must have Registered Behavior Technician Certification High School Diploma; college degree is preferred Experience with autism or other intellectual disabilities strongly preferred. Florida Medicaid Provider
ABILITIES Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, parents, co- workers, supervisors, and community members. Effective time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at one time. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws. Commitment to ongoing training and development as it relates to clinical skills, professional development, ethics, and technology, and training in order to perform job responsibilities to required standard.
EXPERIENCE Previous experience working with children.
