Associate Pastor, Tree of Life Church – Palmer, Alaska
Are you driven to empower the Church, nurture authentic community, and bring healing through the love and power of Jesus Christ? Tree of Life Church is looking for a Christ-centered, Spirit-led Associate Pastor to join us part-time.
We are a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled church in Palmer, Alaska, deeply committed to authenticity, meaningful connection, and relational health. We believe that every believer is called to be a minister of the Gospel within their unique sphere of influence. We’re also passionate about encouraging both personal and spiritual development through discipleship, teaching, and real-life application. Our desire is for each person to thrive in the identity and purpose God designed for them.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Lead Pastor in preaching, teaching, and pastoral care
- Helping cultivate vibrant, Spirit-filled worship and community life
- Leading or supporting ministries such as discipleship, outreach, or youth/children’s ministry
- Equipping the church body for spiritual growth and service
- Providing biblical counsel and support to individuals and families

- You have previous ministry experience
- You are an outgoing gatherer

- You have strong communication, leadership, and relational skills
- You have the ability to preach, teach, and provide pastoral care
- You have the ability and motivation to plan and lead initiatives
- You seek to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, grounded with prayer, guided by Scripture, reflecting the character of Christ for the glory of God.
It Would Be Awesome If:
- You have a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too seriously.
- You love to reach families with little to no church background.
- You are tech-savvy and have experience managing social media and websites
- You have a Bible or Ministry School certificate or degree
You can expect:
- Part-time work, 20 hours per week, in person
- Salary DOE, $22-30 per hour
- Opportunity for advancement within 6-12 months
