Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with ASD and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing speech and language therapy programs tailored to each client's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for clients with ASD.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Provide direct therapy sessions focusing on communication, social skills, and pragmatic language.
- Collaborate with other professionals (BCBAs, occupational therapists, educators) to ensure integrated care.
- Train and support families and caregivers in implementing communication strategies at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with ASD (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of AAC devices, PECS, and other communication systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
