What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Tree Climber position at Tree King, Inc.?

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for climbing, pruning and removing trees on residential and commercial properties.
- Must be able to safely operate a chain saw both on the ground and in the tree
- Must have experience in pruning trees using hand saws, pole saws, chain saws, and lopers
- Must have skills to remove and lower trees safely
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate bucket truck and/or spider aerial lift
- Ability to safety and efficiently Trim and/or remove trees by climbing with the aid of a safety belt, climbing line or aerial lift, or work from the ground using saws/pruners.
- Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Operate as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman. *There is room for growth with the potential of being a Foreman in time*
- Ensure excellent customer service and take pride in your work
Qualifications:
- Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation and chipper operation.
- Experience with Aerial Lifts desired
- Familiarity with ANSI standards
- Standard Driver’s License required. Commercial Driver’s License's are a major advantage.
- Minimum experience - 2 years climbing experience.
- Experience with crew management, training, customer service, and safety procedures are highly valuable.

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
