Groundsman / Equipment Operator
Tree Guys of St. Augustine is looking for a hardworking, dependable Groundsman/Equipment Operator to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced tree service company with a young, enthusiastic crew that takes pride in doing quality work and working safely.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with tree removals and tree trimming
- Operating chainsaws and helping safely bring down trees
- Running equipment including chippers, stump grinders, and skid steers
- Loading, hauling, and processing brush and debris
- Raking, blowing, and leaving every job site clean
- Following safety procedures and working as part of a team
- Performing physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus)
- Experience with tree work or heavy equipment is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
