Role Description
The Accounting Generalist supports core accounting operations for a manufacturing organization, with a strong focus on AP, AR, Order Entry, Inventory and Cost Accounting support. This mid‑level role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and partnering with operations to ensure proper financial reporting related to manufacturing activities.
Qualifications
· Required
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
· Working knowledge of GAAP, including inventory and cost accounting concepts
· Experience with ERP systems, ideally Sage 300
· Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, analysis)
· Strong understanding of inventory flows and production processes
· Preferred
· Current working experience with Sage 300
