Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator plays a vital role in managing and maintaining accurate financial records within a small team of 2-5 members. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role focuses on ensuring the integrity of financial data through invoice processing, account reconciliation, and audit support. The Coordinator works closely with multiple departments daily and utilizes Sage Business Works to streamline accounting activities, supporting compliance and efficient payment processing without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices accurately and timely
• Prepare and assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
• Enter financial data and maintain comprehensive records
• Manage payment processing and accounts payable/receivable tasks
• Support audit activities and regulatory compliance monitoring
• Collaborate daily with other departments to facilitate financial operations
• Utilize Sage Business Works software for accounting procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
