Landscape Construction Foreman

Tree Bee Landscapes is currently hiring for a landscape construction foreman. Tree Bee is a family owned business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License (REQUIRED)
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to/from work (REQUIRED)
• Proven ability to read and interpret verbal instructions
• Clear and legible handwriting
• Understanding of Landscape installation
• Prepared for work in a timely fashion with weather appropriate clothing (sweatshirt, rain jacket, hat etc), lunch, water
• Professional behavior and appearance
• Experience driving trucks with and without trailers
• Self-motivated and work alone as well as in a team on larger projects
• Minimum 1 years of experience working on landscape construction

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Lead landscape installation crew on daily basis to meet project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Instruct and train new crew members on proper installation, safety, communication, quality, procedures, organization and productivity.
• Layout project activities for both immediate needs (daily) and long-term needs (week/month)
• Read, interpret landscape plans and specifications to accurately install all landscape elements as shown on drawings.
• Operate construction equipment such as mini excavators, trenchers, plate compactors, power tools, etc.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean, operable and professional manor.
• Fill out daily and monthly reports, communicate frequently with owner.
• Reliable transportation to/from work is required.
• Must have experience working with all types of irrigation heads, valves, rain sensors, drip line ad clocks/timers.
• Work will be outdoors 100% of the time, in extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
• Experience driving trucks with and without trailers.
• Good communication with Clients
• Expecting working hours Mon-Thur 7:30-6:00 – hours will vary depending on factors (30 min lunch break)
• Perform end of day routines to close out after crews finish for the day.
• Work includes installing: retaining walls, sod, synthetic turf, pavers, drainage, plants, fences, landscape lighting, and other landscape projects.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS INCLUDE:

• Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
• Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
