We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) with strong Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics leadership to own and drive the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise BI products for a leading telecommunications organization. This role will focus on building scalable, reliable, and business-critical BI solutions that support executive decision-making across network, customer, finance, and operations domains.
The ideal candidate combines product mindset, technical depth in data/BI platforms, and strong stakeholder management, with experience operating in large, complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for BI and analytics platforms.
- Translate business objectives into well-defined product requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
- Prioritize backlog based on business impact, technical feasibility, and stakeholder needs.
- Act as the voice of the customer for BI products across multiple Telco domains.
BI & Analytics Leadership
- Lead the design and evolution of BI products including dashboards, reports, semantic models, and data products.
- Drive standardization of KPIs, metrics definitions, and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and usability of BI solutions.
- Enable self-service analytics while maintaining governance and consistency.
Technical & Platform Alignment
- Partner closely with data engineering, architecture, and platform teams on solution design.
- Ensure BI products align with enterprise data platforms (lakehouse, cloud data warehouses).
- Support modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, BI tool consolidation, and advanced analytics adoption.
- Understand and guide trade-offs related to performance, cost, security, and scalability.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Engage senior business leaders, analysts, and engineering teams to align priorities and expectations.
- Present product roadmap, progress, and insights to executive stakeholders.
- Drive consensus in a highly matrixed organization with competing priorities.
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role in data/analytics.
- 4 years of experience owning BI or analytics products.
- Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of data platforms (e.g.,Redshift, Databricks).
- Experience working closely with data engineering and analytics teams.
- Proven ability to define product strategy and deliver data products at enterprise scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Telecommunications or similarly data-intensive industries.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Experience enabling self-service BI and enterprise analytics governance.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product delivery models.
