Role: SDET with Cypress Location: Dallas, TX-- Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Cucumber (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Build and maintain BDD-based test frameworks integrating Gherkin syntax for readable and reusable tests.
- Develop automation for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adequate test coverage and continuous quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks for scalability and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, test planning, and quality discussions.
- Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience in Cypress.io for UI and API automation.
- Strong working knowledge of Cucumber, BDD, and Gherkin syntax.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Experience testing REST APIs (Postman, SuperTest, or similar).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
