Role: SAP ABAP EWM Technical Lead

Location: Collegeville, PA - Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP technical development activities for SAP EWM implementations and support projects.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP EWM solutions using ABAP technologies.

• Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop and enhance RF Frameworks, PPF actions, BADI implementations, enhancements, user exits, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.

• Build and support integrations between SAP EWM and SAP ERP/S4HANA systems.

• Develop inbound/outbound interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, Proxy, and web services.

• Perform performance tuning, debugging, code optimization, and troubleshooting for ABAP programs.

• Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and development best practices.

• Support data migration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams in Agile project environments.

• Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and deployment documents.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP ABAP development with focus on SAP EWM.

• Hands-on expertise in:

• RF Development

• PPF Framework

• BADI/User Exits/Enhancements

• SmartForms / Adobe Forms

• Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows (RICEF)

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM integration.

• Strong knowledge of IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and Web Services.

• Experience working with SAP HANA and performance optimization techniques.

• Good understanding of warehouse management business processes.

• Expertise in debugging and resolving complex production issues.

• Experience with object-oriented ABAP and CDS Views is preferred.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP EWM implementation experience.

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or manufacturing domains.

• Exposure to SAP TM, MM, SD, or PP integration is a plus.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to mentor junior developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
