Lead Angular Developer :: Hybrid :: W2/1099 Position

Role: Frontend Tech Lead – Angular (Principal Level)

Location: Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid (3 days onsite)




We’re looking for a hands-on Frontend Tech Lead who can combine deep Angular expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building modern UI platforms while guiding teams and influencing product direction.




What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend and backend engineers, fostering a high-performance engineering culture

• Take ownership of frontend architecture, driving scalable solutions such as micro frontends and server-side rendering

• Partner closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and design teams to translate ideas into impactful user experiences

• Contribute hands-on to development, setting coding standards and best practices

• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability across all UI applications

• Oversee the full development lifecycle—from design and development to deployment and optimization

Technology Environment

• Angular (latest versions preferred), TypeScript, modern CSS frameworks

• Exposure to backend technologies such as Java/Spring Boot or .NET

• Experience with modern frontend architecture patterns (Micro Frontends, SSR)

What You Bring

• Proven experience in a Tech Lead / Architect / Principal Frontend role

• Strong hands-on expertise in Angular and modern UI development

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-to-end, scalable frontend solutions

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams

• Experience leading teams and driving technical decisions
