Position: Business Analyst

Location: Denver, CO – Hybrid (Locals Only)



Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support technology projects, requirements gathering, vendor coordination, UAT, training, and application enhancements.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary Business Analyst for vendor-led technology projects.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements discussions.

• Gather and document business and technical requirements.

• Create BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.

• Work with Project Managers and Solution Architects on scope, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests.

• Develop communication plans for technology changes and releases.

• Create training plans, training materials, job aids, and support train-the-trainer activities.

• Coordinate UAT, including test scripts, user feedback, and defect tracking.

• Gather requirements for application enhancements and smaller technology projects.

• Support production issues by identifying problems, reproducing defects, and documenting business impact and reproduction steps.

• Collaborate with business users, vendors, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5  years of experience as an IT/ITS Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.

• Experience creating BRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Hands-on experience with UAT and defect management.

• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
