Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages with precision, ensuring quality standards are met consistently
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes according to established recipes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, dishwashers, and POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning workstations, utensils, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace, restocking supplies, and organizing storage areas
- Provide excellent in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Follow food safety management practices diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent contamination or spoilage
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed, ensuring all food handling and serving standards are upheld
- Process cash transactions accurately while managing POS systems efficiently during busy service periods
- Support dietary needs by understanding special dietary requirements and assisting in accommodating guest requests
Experience
Candidates should bring a strong background in food service or hospitality environments. Prior experience working in fine dining settings or catering is highly valued. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, food safety sanitizing procedures, and restaurant operations will set you up for success. Experience with culinary tasks such as wine knowledge or banquet service is advantageous. A demonstrated ability to handle manual tasks safely—such as weight handling—and operate kitchen equipment confidently is essential. Previous roles involving customer service, processing cash transactions through POS systems, or working within the food industry will strengthen your application.
