You'll be helping adults and children with developmental disabilities live more independent, meaningful, and empowered lives.Responsibilities:Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressingCommunicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant partiesPrepare meals and assist with feeding when neededSupport clients in community outings, appointments, and recreational activitiesAdminister/assist and document medications (with training)Maintain clean, safe, and supportive home environmentsImplement care plans and follow positive behavior support strategiesUse CPI techniques as a last resort during emergencies (training provided)Qualifications:Must be 18 years or olderValid California driver's license and reliable transportationAble to pass a background check and health screeningWilling to complete required trainingAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical dutiesPrevious experience in personal care or other related fieldsCompassionate and caring demeanorAbility to build rapport with clientsStrong communication
