We are currently looking for full-time Grant Development Manager
Starting at $50,200 $59,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.
Position Summary: This position supports the organizations fundraising and program goals by managing the full lifecycle of grant development, including research, writing, submission, and reporting. The role coordinates grant processes, maintains funder communications, and ensures timely, accurate compliance while supporting broader development initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify local, state, federal, and foundation funding opportunities
- Prepare concise funding summaries and maintain a pipeline of prospective opportunities
- Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and supporting materials
- Edit, proofread, and format proposals to ensure clarity, quality, and consistency
- Manage proposal development timelines, ensuring all submissions meet funder requirements and deadlines
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather content, data, and required documentation
- Maintain and update a centralized library of grant materials, including boilerplate language, organizational data, and supporting documents
- Monitor industry trends, research, and best practices to strengthen proposal quality and competitiveness
- Track pipeline of grants, including reporting requirements, timelines, and compliance needs
- Oversee and maintain the departments grant tracking system and related reporting data
- Organize and maintain grant files, proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Support internal and external communications related to grant activities
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of key takeaways and next steps
- Prepare and distribute materials for internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university preferred and two to three years related grants management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications and the Internet.
- Familiarity with government and foundation electronic grants systems/portals (i.e., JustGrants, GrantSolutions, eRA Commons, Grants.gov, SAM).
- Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated attention to detail, self-directed, resourceful, and motivated to learn.
- Solid interpersonal and written communications skills, including proofreading, editing and writing abilities. Hiring team will request a writing sample during the application process.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently, both independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain effectiveness under deadlines in an extremely fast paced environment.

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work. Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week with the option to work up to two days remotely.
