A specialty pelvic floor physical therapy clinic is seeking a compassionate, caring, and enthusiastic Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team. The position is a full-time position with some potential overtime. We offer competitive pay depending on experience; bonus potential after 1 year. The position involves interacting with patients, handling the schedule, filing paperwork, answering the phones, assisting with cleaning rooms, laundry and explaining pelvic floor physical therapy to patients that inquire about care. We believe the front desk is the face of the clinic, key to keeping the clinic running smoothly and a crucial representation of our team.
The position is approximately 40 hours per week, with immediate need being Monday - Thursday (8:00 am - 6:00 pm) and Fridays (8:00 am - 1:00 pm) with the specific weekly times varying slightly.

YOU HAVE…
- Minimum of two years experience in customer service setting. Experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents.
- A high school diploma is required.
- Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with patients and co-workers at all times.
- Able to take patient payment, use electronic faxing, handle email communications, and a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to learn and communicate about pelvic floor physical therapy and the various diagnoses that are seen at the clinic with the necessary sensitivity and professionalism.
- Handle paperwork filing in an organized manner.
- Excellent communication in person and on the phone.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
- Greet patients promptly and courteously when they enter the clinic.
- Schedule patients over the phone or email. Responsible for handling patient schedules including scheduling new patients, filling cancellations, scheduling follow-up appointments and taking payments.
- Represent the clinic with care, patience, and professionalism, whether on the phone or in person.
- Handle and organize patient files and information.
- Stock and change linens in patient rooms.
- Any other duties which may be required.
