Responsibilities
- Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Install different types of insulation materials, including fiberglass, foam board, spray foam, and mineral wool, following blueprint specifications and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, and measuring tapes to assist with insulation installation and scaffold assembly.
- Operate power tools safely for cutting, fastening, or shaping insulation materials and scaffolding components.
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation aligned with project requirements.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors or clients regarding project progress or issues encountered on-site.
Qualifications
- Prior construction site experience or related labor work is preferred; familiarity with insulation installation is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise work.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights safely during scaffold assembly or insulation installation.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction environments.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to power tools, scaffolding, and insulation handling.
- Excellent physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
