What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Operations Director position at Treasure Lake, LP?
Essential Job Functions:
o Provides leadership and direction to the technical staff in the day-to-day operation of the department as well as plans for upcoming activity.
o Work with dispatch to ensure scheduling and work-loads are optimized for efficiency and timely completion.
o Provide intraday management of technician activity including on time arrival, completion rates, repeat issues
o Monitor operational expenses for regional technical staff including aspects such as overtime and gas utilization as well as travel expense
o Assess performance of areas where financial investments were made to maximize return
o Monitor and escalate financial concerns/issues related to projects being completed in their region
o Ensure compliance of company policies/procedures and FCC standards as well as local, state and federal regulatory requirements.
o Ensure all technicians have the appropriate tools and PPE to complete their jobs and those items are collected and stored upon separation from the company
o Resolve problems with external customers, ensuring appropriate action from technicians and their management as well as project contractors.
o Manages, measures, and ensures the overall effective outcome of work quality for Zito’s services.
o Provide updates to corporate leaders as requested.
o Ensure all technicians have received and are complying with safety and training standards
o Motivate staff to achieve stated goals as outlined
o Cultivate a positive and respectful work environment through employee education, positive reinforcement, modeling the behavior, providing adequate work tools and administering policies fairly and consistently.
o Due to the 24-hour requirements of the combined operations departments, this position has critical responsibilities when emergency or unusual circumstances occur.

o Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned or as become evident.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
o Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem
o Minimum of four years progressive experience in managing technicians in moderately sized coax or fiber environment.
o Must have experience in operational planning, and leadership development.
o Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize prioritizes, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
o Ability to think through a problem, analyze and break it down into parts to resolve or come up with a logical solution.
o Ability to deal with irate or difficult customers and/or potential customers as well as perform root cause analysis and recommend process changes to prevent future customer frustrations.
Education and Experience:
o Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, electronics or related field from four-year college or university preferred.
