Specific Job Functions
- Provide excellent service consistent with the property’s Platinum service standards to ensure the guest has a positive and memorable experience at TI.
- Stay up-to-date on TI products, services and incentives in order to effectively inform guests about their options while visiting TI.
- Greet each guest with a warm and sincere welcome.
- Promote at least one TI product, service or incentive with each guest, to establish guest rapport.
- Thank guests for their patronage at the conclusion of each transaction.
- Maintain a professional, courteous and friendly atmosphere to ensure efficient operations and provide the guest with an extraordinary gaming experience.
- Minimize guest wait times by accurately completing transactions.
- Redeem guest’s chips, slot machine tickets and Race & Sports tickets.
- Handle cash for cash exchanges.
- Accept marker payments and front money deposits.
- Issue cage markers and customer deposit withdrawals.
- Utilize computer terminals for the cashing of personal checks for guests.
- Maintain chip purchases and EZ Pay Ticket purchases (slot machine tickets).
- Perform credit/debit card transactions through cash advance systems.
- Assist guests in applying for Casino Credit Lines and Front Money Deposits.
- Create Player’s Club accounts as needed.
- Exchange foreign currency and foreign chips for guests.
- Maintain all financial documents and company assets in a neat and organized manner.
- Ensure turn-ins are completed within established guidelines and timeframes.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of Title 31.
- Enter cash transactions and negotiable items into the Title 31 system.
- Balance bank at the end of shift by making sure to start and end the shift with the same amount of money.
- Adhere strictly to all Gaming Regulations.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
- High school diploma required.
- Must be able to acquire a Gaming License.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
- Prior cash handling experience required (at least one year of experience).
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Experience with sales and marketing techniques preferred.
- Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, stand and walk for extended times, carry/life up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to work in casino environment with possible exposure to: dust/dirt, high noise levels, and smoke.
