Hard/Soft Count Team Member

POSITION TITLE:     Count Team Member          JOB CODE:   # 154181

DEPARTMENT:        Finance

REPORTS TO:        Count Team Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to handle all the duties of the count team, including the lifting of coin and the operation of the equipment. Responsible for the accurate control of all soft money transactions in and out of assigned areas. Team effort and involvement.

1. Operate computer and counting machines.
2. Open drop boxes.
3. Remove and replace all drop boxes.
4. Strap and count large sums of money.
5. Balance reports.
6. Other tasks as requested by management.

 EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: High school graduate or GED. Able to operate the currency counting equipment and 10-dey calculator. Able to understand and comprehend all regulations imposed by the State Tax and Gaming Commission. Able to adapt to long hours in a closed environment.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Mississippi Gaming License REQUIRED.

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing/walking for long periods of time. Ability to stoop, lift up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch in all directions. Able to stand for long periods of time. Be able to push, pull and lift up to 100 lbs.
