REPORTS TO: Director of Facilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Repair, install, and maintain electrical wiring, circuits, machinery, appliances, and equipment.
- Repair incandescent and fluorescent lights, receptacles, and switches with working knowledge for 110/208/480 volts, 3 phase.
- Read, interpret, and update electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams. Report effects on load and balance to supervisor/manager.
- Perform minor carpentry and plastering in connection with electrical work.
- Assist's facilities staff and functions as required. Complies with all casino and facilities policies and procedures.
- Able to use hand and power tools in general electrical repair and installation work.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High School graduate. Two years of experience as electrician’s assistant or equivalent. Working knowledge of National Electrical Code. Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Two years variable electrical apprenticeship work.
LICENSE / PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop, and crouch to reach electrical wiring.
