What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ice Cream Server For Special Event position at Treadway Events & Entertainment LLC?
Treadway Events is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Servers to join our team for the Scooped Ice Cream Festival, the Pacific Northwest’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream celebration! You’ll play a key role in creating a fun and delicious experience for our guests by scooping and serving ice cream from branded dipping cabinets at one of our high-traffic vendor booths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoop and serve ice cream to event attendees in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a clean and organized service area throughout the day
- Restock dipping cabinets and toppings as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitary handling practices
- Assist with set-up and breakdown, including prep and post-event cleaning
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and upbeat attitude
Shift Times:
- 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 – (1) unpaid 30 minute break, (2) 15-minute breaks
Location: Esther Short Park in Vancouver, WA
Requirements:
- Must be 16 years of age
- Must have current Washington State food handling certification
- Must be presentable, with clean grooming and no visible facial tattoos
- Black, tan or gray pants or shorts required; apron and event t-shirt will be provided
- Comfortable standing for long hours and working in warm outdoor conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous customer service or food service experience preferred, but not required
- Must be available to work both days for entirety of the event
