We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings and finishes to a variety of industrial components and structures, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through construction painting surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion
• Operate various painting and coating spray guns, including airless paint spraying and conventional spraying methods, to apply coatings evenly and efficiently
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for assembly, surface finishing, and material handling tasks
• Interpret production documents such as work orders, technical drawings, and quality standards to ensure precise application of coatings
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols by properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), respirators, and respiratory protection at all times during painting processes
• Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect coated surfaces for consistency, quality, and defect detection
• Handle materials safely within warehouse environments, ensuring proper storage and transportation of paints, coatings, and related supplies

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial painting or manufacturing environments with knowledge of powder coating, auto painting, or construction painting surface preparation
• Familiarity with coating application techniques such as airless paint spraying, conventional spraying, and finishing processes
• Mechanical knowledge to operate equipment like spray guns, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively
• Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions for surface preparation and coating procedures
• Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use, respirator fitting, and adherence to safety standards in industrial settings
• Warehouse experience or materials handling skills preferred for efficient workflow management
• Basic math skills for measuring materials and verifying coating thicknesses or dimensions
