What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fund Accountant position at TRD Advisors LLC?
We are working with several private equity fund managers looking for fund accountants with 2 to 6 years of relevant experience. Please only apply if you have the correct level of experience. The offices are located in midtown Manhattan and will offer candidates the ability to work remotely on Fridays. These positions will have significant interaction with the CFO, Controller and other teams at the firm. These are the roles that set you up to be a Fund CFO some day. All-in comp to $165k depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Review of quarterly financials produced by the 3rd party Fund Administrator
- Assist in the annual audit process for the Funds and preparing schedules required for the auditors
- Assist in tax compliance and reporting to investors including preparation of K-1s
- Assist in the valuations process for private investments
- Asset monitoring, work closely with the investment team to predict future cash flows and monitor direct investments to account for all cash flows from investments
- Liaise with administrator and educate them on new deal aspects
- Assist compliance in KYC and due diligence on new deal flow
- Maintain and manage the fund’s revolving credit facility, ensuring there are no breaches of covenants
- Manage JV entities, collect accruals for parent companies
Requirement:
- Candidate should possess 2 to 6 years of financial services accounting experience focused on private equity funds.
- The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, particularly in Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- CPA preferred.
- Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
