What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Structural Engineer, Structural Engineering Group position at TRC Worldwide Engineering Inc?
TRC Worldwide Engineering is currently seeking a licensed Structural Engineer in Brentwood, TN.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design of a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction. Structures will be commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, multi-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and senior living facilities
- Oversee construction administration activities on projects
- Monitor, manage and achieve all assigned project deadlines
- Ensure that clients are completely satisfied with all aspects of engineering services
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. Civil Engineering; M.S degree a plus
- P.E. license
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
- Experience in Autocad and Revit drafting is a plus
