What we design: a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction. Structures include but are not limited to: commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, multi-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and more.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design of a wide variety of building structures utilizing concrete, steel, masonry, and wood construction.
- Structures will be commercial office buildings, multi-story residential developments, multi-story storage buildings, public sector buildings, and other.
- Oversee construction administration activities on projects
- Monitor, manage and achieve all assigned project deadlines
- Ensure that clients are completely satisfied with all aspects of engineering services
- Providing office leadership for the firm.
Requirements:
- B.S. Civil Engineering; M.S degree a plus, emphasis on structures
- Licensed PE
- Minimum of 15 years experience in design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
- Experience managing projects and clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience working collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, RISA, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, EnerCalc.
