What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restoration Engineer (Bilingual), Restoration & Inspection Group position at TRC Worldwide Engineering Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structural assessments and forensic investigations of buildings and infrastructure.
- Design and oversee restoration solutions for concrete, masonry, steel, and façade systems.
- Prepare engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and property managers to ensure project success.
- Perform site inspections and monitor construction activities for compliance with design and safety standards.
- Provide bilingual communication and documentation for Spanish-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in restoration engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in restoration materials, techniques, and building codes.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with historic preservation projects.
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade building codes and coastal construction practices.
- Familiarity with corrosion mitigation and waterproofing systems.
