What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager position at TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc.?
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Design and day-to-day management of complex projects on a wide variety of building types, such as hospitals, higher education, public sector buildings, and commercial office buildings
- Act as lead engineer providing guidance, training, and mentorship to staff
- Construction administration of projects, including processing submittals and site inspections
- Assure all assigned deadlines are met
- Assure clients are satisfied, and all assigned deadlines are met
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. Civil Engineering
- M.S. Structural Engineering
- P.E. license
- 8 years of experience in the design of multi-story buildings at structural consulting firm(s)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in design using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, RAM SS, ADAPT, and EnerCalc.
- Experience in AutoCAD and Revit drafting is a plus
