Senior Accountant
Expanding Charlotte corporate office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance and accounting team. You will be instrumental in driving accurate financial reporting, leading month-end close activities, improving processes, and delivering meaningful financial insights that support key business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Prepare reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, and ad hoc) timely and accurately.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Monitor and improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and review their work for accuracy.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to resolve accounting issues and improve financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 3 years of general accounting experience.
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft and Excel.
