Summary
The Financial Advisor Support Specialist serves as a key operational resource for Financial Advisors and internal teams, helping resolve service issues, process requests, and maintain operational excellence. This role combines customer support, problem-solving, and financial services operations within a collaborative and high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Respond to advisor inquiries accurately and within established service timelines
- Support operational activities including account setup, transaction processing, and service requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational or escalated issues through research and cross-functional collaboration
- Maintain detailed documentation and provide clear, actionable resolutions
- Identify recurring trends and recommend process improvements to enhance advisor support
- Maintain working knowledge of company systems, operational procedures, and financial products
- Assist with compliance-related inquiries and support adherence to industry regulations and internal policies
- Contribute to overall operational efficiency and service quality initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services operations or broker-dealer environments
- Previous call center or high-volume customer support experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required
