Our assignments include small and medium-sized bridges, culverts, railroad grade separations, viaducts, and major water crossings in both rural and urban environments.

TRC is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector II to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Practice across North Carolina, supporting projects in Hoke, Lee, Moore, Richmond, and Scotland counties.

This position will report to our client's Aberdeen District Office.

The ideal candidate will have transportation construction experience, with a preference for those who have worked on highway and bridge projects involving NCDOT or municipal transportation infrastructure.

To meet growing project demands, TRC is currently seeking qualified Construction Inspectors (CIs) to join our Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Practice in Aberdeen, NC, and at other project locations across North Carolina.

Qualified Inspectors are needed for:

• Highway and Roadway Construction Inspection

• Bridge and Structural Inspection

Minimum Requirements:

• 18 months or more of transportation construction inspection experience

• Experience working on NCDOT highway or bridge projects preferred

Required Certifications / Qualifications (or willingness to obtain):

• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I

• ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level I or NCDOT Aggregate Level I

Inspectors must be familiar with NCDOT Construction Manual, Standard Specifications, and testing procedures, and be able to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
