**Job Summary:**
We are seeking experienced and motivated Senior Building Inspectors and Building Inspectors to join our team at TRB and Associates, Inc. As a Senior Building Inspector, you will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects industrial, commercial, and residential buildings during various stages of construction and remodeling to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
- Inspects existing buildings for change of use, occupancy, or compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
- Confers with architects, contractors, builders, and the general public in the field and office; explains and interprets requirements and restrictions. <>
- Reviews building construction plans over the counter for compliance with various codes and regulations.

Requirements:
- Certification as an ICC Building Inspector. ICC Electrical Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Combination Inspector, Plans Examiner, or CASp Certification is desirable.
- An in-depth understanding of the California Building Standards Codes and related standards is essential.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid California License.
