| ***Position Pending Contract Award*** The Security Custodian/Assistant Special Security Officer manages all classified documents stored in the classified area (Secret and Top Secret), ensuring they are properly marked, properly stored and properly tracked on the classified holdings list. Duties and Responsibilities * Manages the classified holdings list. * Manages classified computer systems. * Ensures the classified area will pass all inspection criteria related to Information Security and Operations Security. This includes all collateral secret classroom, and Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) vault and office are and Secret Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). * Ensures compliance IAWAR 380-5, Information Security; AR 380-28 Section 2-6 Special Security Officer (SSO), DODM 5105.21, V.1-3, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); DoD Directive 5205.07, SAP Policy; AR 380-381, Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM); Operations Security, AR 530-1. |

| Qualifications | ||||||||||
Required Skills and Qualifications * Must have a Top-Secret security clearance. Physical Demands and Working Conditions * The work of this position is performed in an environmentally controlled office environment and sometimes in the field where you are subject to the environment. * Must be capable of sitting and entering data on a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. * Must be able to view computer monitor for extended periods of time. * Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted. * Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned. * Reasonable accommodation can be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the duties and responsibilities. Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements * Must be a U.S. Citizen. * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions. * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests. * Must have successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination. * Must be able to successfully complete a background check. * Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.
