We’re seeking a Retail Sales Associate/Merchandiser to join our team and be responsible for both selling products to customers and ensuring those products are attractively displayed to maximize sales. This role involves customer interaction, product knowledge, sales techniques, and merchandising activities. A successful candidate needs to be engaging, knowledgeable, and able to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
· Greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
· Assist with customer complaints and resolving issues.
· Create appealing product displays to drive sales.
· Maintain store appearance
· Restock shelves and ensure products are well-presented.
· Process new shipments and organize back stock.
· Monitor inventory levels and communicate reorder needs.
· Assist with opening and closing the store.
· Handle transactions, returns, and exchanges.
· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
· Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
· Handling cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
· Balancing the cash register and ensuring accurate accounting.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Proficiency in sales techniques (upselling, cross-selling).
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Basic math and computer skills.
· Ability to lift and carry merchandise.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
