What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finish Carpenter position at Trawick Homes?
Job Overview
We are adding finish carpenters for our custom homes and high-end remodels. This is interior trim, doors, cabinets, built-ins, and stairs, the finish work that gets looked at up close and has to be right.
What you will do
- Interior trim, including base, casing, crown, wainscot, and custom millwork
- Hang interior doors and install hardware
- Set cabinets and build and install built-ins, shelving, and mantels
- Stairs, railings, and the finish details that make a house feel custom
- Punch-out finish work to closeout standard
What we are looking for
- Strong interior finish carpentry experience on custom or high-end homes
- Clean, tight, square work, and pride in the details
- You can work from plans and selections without a lot of hand-holding
- Own your finish tools
- Reliable and detail-driven
