Duties
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear frames and lenses based on their prescriptions, lifestyle needs, and personal preferences.
- Dispense spectacle lenses with precision, ensuring proper alignment and fit for optimal vision correction.
- Conduct eyewear fittings, adjustments, and repairs to ensure comfort and durability.
- Operate optical laboratory equipment for lens cutting, edging, and mounting while maintaining aseptic techniques.
- Manage patient records using EMR/EHR systems, ensuring accuracy in medical terminology, vital signs, and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries about eyewear options, insurance coverage, and sales transactions using POS systems.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations to protect patient information during all interactions.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
