Scale Technician

Travis Scale Company LLC is currently seeking individuals who are looking for a career position in a prestigious and growing company in a promising industry. Our goal is to fill open positions with highly-motivated, detail-oriented team players. Qualified candidates will be mostly working in a crew setting repairing and servicing equipment as needed.

Our service company is located in Liberal, KS and we are seeking applicants for maintenance, calibration, and repair of industrial weighing systems and scales in our servicing area of surrounding states.

Qualified candidates will:

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical capacity test including being able to lifting 50 lbs and at times work in dirty and confined spaces in various conditions.
• Respond to routine, 24-hour call service, with overtime, as needed. Limited overnight travel will be necessary at times.
• Proficient technology skills: Smart phones, laptops, E-logs, etc.
• Must be speak English--bilingual is a plus.
• Possess a great attitude in all working conditions.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Have a detail-oriented personality.
• Be highly self-motivated to stay busy and on task when not directly being overseen.
• Be able to cooperate with other team members well.
• Be able to adapt quickly to changing work tasks within a set schedule.
• Strong and Proven customer relations skills!

Ideal candidates will:

Have experience and knowledge working with and servicing industrial equipment. Electronic troubleshooting ability with mechanical background experience would be very beneficial, however is not required.
