What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Aide/Assistant position at Traverse Mountain Elementary?
Traverse Mountain Elementary is a beautiful school filled with a positive welcoming staff. Our teachers work closely as grade level teams to plan curriculum for their classrooms and work as a team to support students who need extra help and/or extensions. The teacher's assistants/aides are a valuable part of each grade level team.
We are looking for a teachers aide to work 29 hours a week; Monday - Friday 7:45-2:00 for this upcoming school year. Start date is August 19th.
The teacher's aide would work with individual students and classroom teachers to provide supports to the teacher and students.
Requirements:
- age 16
- High school diploma or equivalent.
We are looking for dependable, kind, and capable applicants who enjoy working with children and the busy happy environment in an elementary school.
