Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Pre-K Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods where applicable
  • Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction among young children
  • Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and support children’s emotional well-being
  • Assess individual child progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and observation to tailor instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates
  • Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
  • Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Pre-K or Kindergarten teacher with appropriate early childhood education credentials
  • Proven experience working with young children in classroom settings, including preschool or daycare environments
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators
  • Experience in working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is preferred
  • Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate physical activity, arts, and play-based learning strategies
