Duties
- Safely operate Class B commercial trucks, including Flatbed truck, moffett/forklift,following FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR (Over the Road) routes
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for truck loading and unloading procedures
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for all shipments and activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route adjustments or address delivery issuesExperience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, particularly with Class B vehicles
- Prior delivery driving experience with route driving responsibilities preferred
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations, and DOT safety sta
- Experience in manual transmission trucks /automatic,and manual handling of logistics cargo is advantageous
- Ability to operate GPS navigation systems confidently for route planning on OTR routes
