Summary
The Instructional Designer role is responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating training programs that support improved business performance. This role focuses on developing executing TA’s curriculum design strategy while making learning simple, engaging, and accessible for all TA learners.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply adult learning concepts when consulting and collaborating with department stakeholders to align programs, prioritize resources, and support strategic objectives.
- Design and develop comprehensive learning solutions that provide an excellent user experience and incorporate multiple deliverables (online, video, simulations, Instructor-led, virtual learning, etc.), to meet business and performance objectives.
- Build e-learning assets using Articulate 360 suite, ensuring product meets industry standards.
- Adhere to design team standard operating procedures and L&D style guidelines to ensure optimal execution and delivery of work to support TA’s learning culture.
- Follow and communicate instructional design processes and internal team project management strategy.
- Support maintenance of existing training assets by partnering with stakeholders, subject matter experts’ business partners to create content, drive the review and approval process and ensure training content integrity.
- Create technically written documentation supporting learning design strategy.
- Continually seek opportunities to enhance personal development in training skills, technology advances, and people skills.
