Altiora Aviation is seeking an experienced Admin Associate to help expand our presence within the U.S. Government contracting marketplace. This position is designed for a highly motivated professional with demonstrated experience identifying government opportunities, preparing compliant proposals, and supporting successful contract awards.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have prior experience with U.S. Government procurement processes, proposal development, and proactive opportunity identification. The successful candidate must be capable of independently researching opportunities, evaluating solicitations, and developing competitive bid strategies while working directly with company leadership.
The Government Procurement & Aviation Contracts Associate will report directly to the Director of Altiora Aviation and will play a key role in identifying, developing, and pursuing government opportunities related to aviation, aerospace, transportation, logistics, aircraft sales, aircraft charter, aircraft parts, and related services.
Position Responsibilities
The Government Procurement & Aviation Contracts Associate will be responsible for:
· Researching and proactively identifying U.S. Government procurement opportunities through platforms including SAM.gov and other federal, state, and local procurement portals.
· Monitoring upcoming solicitations, procurement forecasts, Sources Sought Notices, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other government opportunities.
· Evaluating government solicitations to determine alignment with Altiora Aviation's capabilities and strategic objectives.
· Identifying high-value opportunities and presenting recommendations directly to the Director.
· Developing procurement strategies and supporting bid/no-bid decisions.
· Preparing compliant government proposal submissions, including:
· Technical responses
· Capability statements
· Pricing documentation
· Past performance summaries
· Compliance documentation
· Assisting with preparation and submission of RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, RFIs, and other government procurement responses.
· Researching historical contract awards, incumbent contractors, competitors, and government purchasing trends.
· Maintaining a pipeline of government contracting opportunities and proposal deadlines.
· Supporting government business development initiatives involving:
· Aircraft sales and acquisitions
· Government and private aircraft charter
· Aircraft leasing
· Aircraft components and parts
· Aviation logistics
· Special mission aviation
· Aerospace and defense-related aviation services
· Collaborating with aviation professionals and analysts to develop accurate, competitive, and well-supported proposals
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
· Must be a United States citizen
· Preferably based within the United States; however, qualified U.S. citizens located internationally may be considered
· Demonstrated prior experience researching, identifying, and pursuing U.S. Government procurement opportunities
· Proven experience preparing and submitting government procurement bids, proposals, and responses
· Experience responding to:
· Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
· Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
· Invitations for Bid (IFBs)
· Sources Sought Notices
· Requests for Information (RFIs)
· Strong understanding of U.S. Government procurement processes and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
· Experience using SAM.gov and other U.S. Government procurement platforms
· Ability to independently interpret solicitation requirements and develop compliant proposal responses
· Exceptional technical writing, proposal writing, and business communication skills
· Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities
· Ability to proactively identify opportunities with minimal supervision
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposal deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
· Previous experience supporting aviation, aerospace, defense, transportation, or logistics-related government contracts
· Experience with Department of Defense (DoD), FAA, DHS, Department of Transportation, or other federal agency procurements
· Familiarity with GSA Schedules, teaming agreements, subcontracting, and federal contracting compliance
· Experience researching government contract award history and competitive intelligence
· Experience developing pricing strategies and cost proposal submissions.
· Familiarity with ITAR, export-controlled aviation products, or defense-related procurement requirements
· Experience supporting small businesses pursuing government contracts

· Must be a U.S. citizen
· Must be eligible to participate in U.S. Government contracting activities and related procurement processes

· Must not have any pending criminal charges, active investigations, unresolved legal proceedings, or outstanding warrants
· Must not have any legal circumstances that could impact eligibility, trustworthiness, professional reputation, or the ability to support government contracting activities
· Must be willing to complete any required background checks or compliance screenings associated with government contracting opportunities

Compensation Structure
This is a commission-based opportunity.
Compensation will be directly tied to successful business development efforts, including qualified government opportunities identified, proposals supported, and contracts awarded.
Commission percentages, payment terms, and eligibility requirements will be discussed with selected candidates and formalized through a written agreement.
