Travel Ultrasound Technologist Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Carrollton, Georgia.
Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their expertise to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Use ultrasound machines to produce accurate images for medical interpretation.
- Educate patients and/or their families regarding procedures performed.
- Prepare exam rooms for examinations and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
- Report any abnormalities requiring immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff.
- Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
- Conduct scan tests and write reports based on results.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- ARDMS National Certification.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
